
Northewstern a newly found wreck with lots to see. Built in 1847, at 114 feet long, and sank September 30, 1850 in a collision with the steamer Monticello. This wreck is in 135 Feet of water and you will be on the bottom since the wreck is broken up. Her bow is intact, with a scroll figure head,and her stern is standing with her hand tillered rudder. ***AS a note, during the summer of 2006, all of the artifacts seen below were stolen. There was even a gold pocket watch that had belonged to one of the crew. That too is missing.
